CODICO is EN ISO 9001:2008 certified. Since initial certification in 1995, we have continually improved our quality management system, to include recurring system audits.
In April 2009, our certification authority, Quality Austria, officially confirmed that our German subsidiary CODICO Deutschland GmbH also conforms to the applicable standards, in this case awarding certification according to EN ISO 9001:2008!

CODICO goes AEO
Growing globalization and trade liberalization, along with changes in the international security landscape, are having an impact on customs operations and administration. After the September 11, 2001, terror attacks in the USA, the transport of goods soon joined personnel transportation as an increasingly recognized target for terrorist activities, and this has resulted in security considerations factoring more heavily in the international movement of goods.
Towards this end, the goal is to make the entire international supply chain from the goods manufacturer to the end user safe and secure.
Within EU law, this goal was implemented by EC Regulation Nos. 648/2005 and 1875/2006 as part of the Safety and Security Amendment to the Community Customs Code.
In accordance with the new EU Customs Code procedures, CODICO has been certified as an Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) since March 11, 2011.
The modernized customs code simplifies all authorization procedures and minimizes customs inspections (for AEOs). This saves us time and money, and makes CODICO an even more flexible and attractive partner for our customers!
