The COmponent DIstributing COmpany, better known as CODICO, is a name that stands for the design-in distribution of high-quality active and passive electronic components and interconnect systems.
CODICO is an independent, privately owned company with headquarters in Perchtoldsdorf, Austria, on the southern outskirts of Vienna. In addition to 17 sales offices in Germany, the international CODICO team consists of one office each in Denmark, Italy, France, United Kingdom and eight partner companies in Central and Eastern Europe. Backed by a high level of technical expertise, we place a key focus on design-in services for our customers. CODICO’s core business thus consists of providing technical support from the initial development phase through to the end product, along with the sale of only high-quality electronic components.

CODICO offers a broad portfolio of active and passive components and interconnection technologies. In the active segment, our focus is on communications products, from analog to wireless, but also microcontrollers and optoelectronic devices (such as LEDs, optocouplers, lasers, LCDs and TFTs). Our power solutions extend to power supplies, converter modules, POL converters and converter ICs. In the passive segment, we offer a diverse range of application-oriented solutions focusing on: e.g., capacitors (electrolytic, film, ceramic and tantalum types), wirewound products, HF and EMC filters, and quartz crystals and resonators. In the interconnection segment, we specialize in connection solutions for electronics, industrial, telecom, and home appliance/entertainment applications, as well as custom cable assemblies, complete cabling solutions and related processing technologies.

CODICO’s technically specialized sales staff, to include product managers and field application engineers, provides highly competent design and application support to customers during the entire product development phase and through to the end product. Another area of service strength is logistics, with CODICO’s precision and timely deliveries resulting from our flexible, customer-oriented approach. We offer the following tailored logistics services:
Just-in-time-deliveries, customer-specified delivery days, special labeling/barcoding, buffer and/or consignment warehousing, backup inventories, Kanban processes, EDI, credit note procedures, min-max systems, systemized online forecasting, batch-number and date-code tracking, and environmentally friendly packaging.
