CODICO's manufacturing partner recently achieved ISO 9001 certification for the company's new plant in Shenzhen, China. Together, we are able to offer high-quality cable assembly solutions at very attractive prices.
Like all major manufacturers of cable and connector products, CODICO has decided to follow the recent trend in Asia, namely to rely on manufacturing facilities in China for the bulk of production.
Our manufacturing partner's new plant is located in the industrial metropolis of Shenzhen, approx. 2 hours south of Shanghai by airplane. Experienced engineers from Taiwan are in charge of assembly, production and QM. The plant employs some 500 workers, and the comprehensive machinery park includes a high proportion of fully automated equipment. All cable assemblies are 100% electronically tested, and the modern computers in use are furthermore capable of performing HI-POT TESTS (high-potential tests).

Our partner utilizes only qualified subcontractors. Cable manufacturers must comply with strict quality standards and be able to meet common testing standards, such as UL, CSA and VDE. The same goes for cable assembly subcontractors. All storage spaces are fully climate-controlled to guarantee optimal conditions, and it goes without saying that the assembly plant is ISO 9001:2000 certified.
MOLDED, SHIELDED DATA CABLES are CODICO's particular area of expertise. We offer customized, molded-on housings and grommets for your cables at very attractive prices.
Our Chinese partner employs only qualified engineers in the company's construction departments. In fact, all experienced personnel previously served the company when it was still located in Taiwan.
