160x180 DOT MATRIX DISPLAY WITH WHITE LED BACKLIGHT
CODICO RECENTLY ADDED A 160x80-DOT COB MODULE IN HIGH-QUALITY FSTN GLASS TECHNOLOGY AND WITH A WHITE LED BACKLIGHT TO ITS STANDARD LINEUP.

Until now, this module was offered only in an STN version with yellow/green backlighting. The new module has a T6963C on-board graphic controller with an 8-bit parallel interface for connection. Thanks to an integrated DC/DC converter that generates the LCD contrast voltage, a single voltage supply of 5V suffices to operate the display. The module also includes a very high quality light guide, thereby enabling just 3 white LEDs to provide the homogenous backlighting, which draws a mere 60mA of current as a result. The module measures 100x54mm overall, with a viewing area of 72.3x37.8mm.
