The new 1.8" CSTN display is
specifically designed for applications that do not require active backlighting at all
times, e.g., cellular telephones and digital cameras.
The display measures 40.8x50.8mm overall, with a viewing area of 34.5x38.9mm and a
resolution of 128x160 dots. By means of software, 256, 4K or a maximum of 65K colors can
be displayed. The COG controller is connected via either an 8-bit parallel or a serial
interface. The white LED backlighting is provided by 3 LEDs that are fed by an additional
supply of 3.6V@60mA. The display also features an extended operating temperature range of
-20°C to +70°C, and a storage temperature range of -30°C to +80°C.
