TDK continues to develop new products packed with the technical advances that the market demands. For example, today's featured NLV series from TDK is an inductor that's worth getting to know better.

The new series is lead free in accordance with EU standards scheduled to take effect in 2006. It was specifically developed to replace TDK's conventional NLV series of inductors, a market favorite. Customers will be assured to know that the lead-free products were designed as a 1:1 NLV replacement, with identical electrical characteristics.
TDK is currently offering the NLV(C)25 in size 1008 and the NLV(C)32 in size 1210. The NLV "C" models deliver 40% more current carrying capacity than their outgoing NLV equivalents, and the new versions offer inductance values ranging from 0.01µH~100µH for size 1008, and 0.01µH to 470µH for size 1210. The storage and operating temperature range is the same for both: -40°C to + 85°C.
The NLV series is frequently used for decoupling in signaling circuits and can be found in a wide variety of industry applications.
