RV16KS: A NEW POT SERIES FOR YOUR DIMMER!
IN 2003, TAIWAN ALPHA LAUNCHED ITS NEW DIMMER POTENTIOMETER SERIES WITH INTEGRATED PUSH-BUTTON SWITCH.
The TAIWAN ALPHA RV16KS is a cost-saving alternative to PREH's retiring 16 series Preostats. What's more, the entire new series is VDE approved (T100 for ohmic load).
The TAIWAN ALPHA pot series is offered with or without latching shaft (36 clicks), and different shaft lengths are available. For customers who prefer using their own pot shaft, a shaft-less version with prepared core is also offered.

Resistance values range from 1KOhm to 2 MOhm (with tolerances to +/- 30% in the 1M - 2MOhm range and +/-20% for values below 1M). The resistance taper (B) is standard and ensures a linear characteristic curve. TAIWAN ALPHA also offers tailor-made solutions, with products manufactured according to customer supplied characteristic curves.
