NEW 5-IN-1 AND 2-IN-1 CARD CONNECTORS FROM YAMAICHI.
YAMAICHI's new FRS008-3100 5-in-1-connector is intended for use with FLASH memory cards in memory stick, smart media, secure digital (SD), multi media card (MMC) and xP picture card applications.
The new multiconnector is configured with a mechanical insertion and extraction mechanism for ease of operation.

The new YAMAICHI device is the ideal solution for applications that utilize multiple storage media (e.g., printers, card readers, photo stations, etc.). The manual insertion and extraction mechanism facilitates ease of operation and is good for 5,000 mating cycles with smart cards, and 12,000 in a memory stick application. The FRS008-3100 also features a card detection and write protection switch.
Also new to the YAMAICHI lineup is the JCS010-2001 2-in-1 connector for SONY Memostick and the follow-on Memostick Duo. It has a push/push design and delivers 12,000 mating cycles.
