ARCOTRONICS reconfirms its technology
leadership in the field of interference suppression capacitors.
ARCOTRONICS manufactures machines used for the production of capacitors in-house and is
the European market leader in this segment. As a result, it is assured of using the most
modern, and fastest, equipment available to ensure constant highest quality. By optimizing
its manufacturing processes and using a newly developed film, ARCOTRONICS has once again
reduced the size of its capacitors. Customers can thus enjoy the combined advantage of
space savings and higher capacitance values for each size, as ARCOTRONICS now manufactures
capacitances of up to 820nF for 15mm pitch and up to 2.2µF for 22.5mm pitch:

The R.46 series of X2 capacitors is
approved according to EN132400. Thanks to a rated temperature range that extends to 110°C
and, for one version, to 125°C, their use even in thermally challenging environments is
virtually unlimited.
General availability for the R.46 series includes capacitance values from 10nF to 10µF in
pitch sizes from 10mm to 37.5mm.
The R.46 is offered with short, cut and long wire leads, as well as tape and reel
packaging for automated pick and place applications. Also available is a version with
long, insulated leads for direct connection to the mains power line.
X2 capacitors have been optimized to uphold the applicable standards that they were
designed for, and thus have only limited use in other applications. Thus, should you
require an interference suppression capacitor for use in a different application (e.g., in
a capacitive power supply), make sure to verify the precise requirements first our staff
