SWITCHING AND INDICATING PRODUCTS FROM TYCO
Under the ALCOSWITCH brand name, TYCO ELECTRONICS offers a broad range of switching and indicating components for low-voltage industrial applications, with both illuminated and non-illuminated designs available!
The components are available in 2 different installation sizes: Versions for 16mm diameter fixings that conform to the IP40 standard, and 22mm versions conforming to IP65.
The switch and indicator bodies are made of thermoplastic, with round, rectangular and square designs available, and a variety of colored lenses can be mounted on them. Optional metal shells are also offered with the round housing versions for 22mm sized fixings.
The control switch range comprises momentary and maintained push-button switches, illuminated and non-illuminated types, and versions with mushroom-head buttons. The products are especially suited for low-voltage circuits and are designed for both AC and DC applications, with 1-pole through 3-pole make contacts offered. Operating temperature ranges from 25°C to 70°C, while the rated electrical life expectancy extends up to 800,000 switching operations, depending on the circuit and switch type. The entire switch range carries the relevant safety approvals, including VDE.
The thermoplastic switch bodies are centrally fixed using an ergonomically shaped lock nut, which can be easily fitted by hand or using an installation tool. The comprehensive range of accessories includes lamps, installation tools and protective caps.
