TDK LAUNCHES NEW FERRITE BEAD - THE MPZ1005S100C
REDUCED dimensions, yet still capable of 2A!
TDK's MPZ1005S100C is the latest addition to its MPZ1005 series. With reduced dimensions of 0.5mm x 1mm x 0.5mm, this new ferrite bead has been developed to give customers more design options for space-constrained applications. And, the MZ1005S100C also benefits from a lower weight of 1mg.

By offering reduced size, while simultaneously maintaining a maximum current capability of 2.0A and an impedance value of 10 Ohms, the MPZ1005 series is ideal for power lines within a range of different applications. It is of particular benefit in communications devices, including mobile phones, handheld devices and audio-visual products.
The MPZ1005 ferrite bead series features a closed magnetic construction that provides EMI countermeasures, thus reducing interference with nearby components. The series also offers a low DC resistance of 0.045 Ohms, thus reducing power consumption and heat output. The specified operating temperature range is -40°C to +85°C.
