8STA POWER CONNECTOR: VIBRATION-PROOF AND COMPACT!
SOURIAU's 8STA connector series for auto sports applications has added a single-contact high power version with a current capacity of up to 300A for even the harshest auto racing environments.
This superior quality power connector is offered in four different variants suiting the wire gauges AWG10, 16, 25 and 35mm˛. The specialized insulation body made of heat shrinking material guarantees an ultra-secure connection for the contact and cable, while also reducing weight.
With a diameter of only 2cm and total length of approx. 4cm, the 8STA is a compact, space-saving solution.

The 8STA connector's environmental characteristics include IP67 protection, shock and vibration proofing and resistance against fuels and lubricating agents, thus making it ideal for power supply applications in hybrid vehicles and other types of battery-operated drives in mobile systems - e.g., remote controlled robots and automated handling systems.
