TYCO ULTRA-PRECISION CHIP RESISTORS!
TYCO ELECTRONICS' RN73 series of ultra-precision chip resistors are now available with tolerances down to 0.01%, making them up to 10 times more precise than previous versions.
The RN73 resistor series targets industrial, military and telecommunications applications and is available in a variety of case sizes through to 0402. The standard size is 0805. Based on nichrome thin-film technology, the devices use three sputtered on layers of metal film as the resistive element, which enables very stable high-frequency performance.
Temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR) values down to 10ppm/°C, and even 5ppm/°C for some case sizes, are available over a wide value range (5R1-470K) in the E96 and E24 grid. Tight dimension tolerances facilitate automatic placement of the RN73 series, and pack quantities are very flexible - ranging from a 250-piece cut strip through to 1000, 5000, and 10,000-piece tape and reel.

The very customer-friendly, standard lead time for deliveries is normally about 4 weeks. This high degree of flexibility makes the RN73 series of ultra-precision chip resistors the ideal choice for a wide variety of applications. Compared to the standard RN73 series, the RP73 series offers increased power dissipation, as well as higher temperature capabilities (up to +155ºC) and maximum operating voltage (200V DC).
