2.7" COF DISPLAY WITH LED BACKLIGHT
New to the CODICO lineup: a 2.7"chip-on-film display.

As the name, COF (chip-on-film), implies, this type of display comes with the LCD controller (driver) mounted on flexible film. It's a cutting-edge technology that offers several advantages: a very flat design, ease of final assembly (simply via FPC connector), a minimal number of connecting leads and a space-saving design. Additional components, such as resistors and capacitors, can also be mounted directly onto the film.
With a resolution of 240x160 pixels and a single 3.3V power supply, this display offers the user a choice of interface modes: 6800/8-bit, 6800/4-bit, 8080/8-bit, 8080/4-bit, 3-pin serial or 4-pin serial.
The integrated LED backlight (yellow-green - 12 LED dice) consumes 90mA; the LCD logic an additional 1.1mA at 3.3V.
Additional features, such as 16 displayable scales of gray and integrated temperature compensation, make this COF solution an attractive alternative to conventional COB displays. The module's overall measurements are 69 x 54 x 5 mm.
