INTERCONTEC: UL/CSA-APPROVED TWINTEC CONNECTORS

The TWINTEC series of combination connectors was recently certified according to the North American UL/CSA standards. The innovative TWINTEC series combines power and signal contacts in a single EMC-conforming housing. All signal contacts furthermore have their own separate shielding. The housing's protective grounding is in accordance with VDE 0627. The design and materials used in the construction of INTERCONTEC connectors ensure a long operating cycle and optimal performance, even under the most strenuous conditions (pollution degree 3, overvoltage category III). Housings are available in die-cast zinc or aluminum, with a choice of different metallic surfaces. The protection rating conforms to IP67.
Rated current for the power contacts is 30A (630 V AC/DC), while the signal contacts are rated at 9A (125V AC/DC). Operating temperature ranges from -20°C to +130°C.
The TWINTEC series is offered in all commonly available configurations, as a plug, extension, straight receptacle and angled receptacle for use with motor and other types of innovative drive control.
