has launched a full line of EMI filtered and ESD protected USB connectors.

The USB-F (EMI filtered) and USB-E (ESD protected) series were specifically designed for use in sensitive electronic circuit applications, such as test and measurement equipment, computer components and related peripherals.
Available products include right angle, stacked and angled board versions, which serve as "drop-in" replacements for unfiltered USB connectors. The USB-F series includes an integrated chip capacitor with available values ranging from 22pF to1000pF, for a frequency range of 2 MHz to 5 GHz. SPECTRUM CONTROL also offers customized filters and/or ESD protected solutions, based on minimum quantity orders.
The USB-E series comes with integrated overvoltage protection in the form of a transient voltage suppressor, with a maximum voltage of 24 VDC. A typical capacitance value is 0.05 pF.
Both the USB-F and USB-E series provide a maximum current loadability of 5A at a working voltage of 10VDC.
