The HOSONIC HC-49SX series provides a 1:1 replacement for competing products, thanks to an identical footprint. This highly cost-competitive, surface-mount crystal offers vibration frequencies ranging from 3.2 to 66 MHz. Versions with a height of either 5 or 4mm are available, with frequency tolerances measuring 10ppm, 30ppm or 50ppm.
HOSONIC's "classic," the HC- 49SM, is also available from CODICO in two different sizes: (A) 4.2mm height or (B) 3.2mm height. These quartz crystals deliver outstanding quality at a competitive price, not to mention excellent availability.
It is often desirable to statically control the quartz oscillator frequency using a variable DC voltage, usually for synchronization, though the frequencies are very precise to start with.
