The new FH28 series is based on the reliable ZIF design. It offers new benchmarks with respect to insertion force and interlocking strength, thanks to HIROSE's highly innovative use of guide lugs along the FFC/FPC cable sides. The new series is one of the most robust ZIF connector solutions in the HIROSE lineup, and it is already shipping with great success. The FH28 is available with 50, 55, or 81 contacts (with other configurations available on request), and is packaged in embossed tape and reel, with 2,000 units/reel.
The FH28 series is well suited for a variety of different applications, especially within the automotive industry, where flat flexible cables are often the solution of choice.
