EACH PHIHONG PLUG-IN MODULE OF THE NEW PSM500-210 COMPACT POWER SUPPLY SERIES DELIVERS 500WATTS IN JUST ONE HEIGHT MODULE, AND UP TO 3 MODULES CAN BE INSERTED INTO A 19" RACK.
The compact modules deliver a main output voltage of either 12V or 48V, and are equipped with an additional standby output of 12V @ 1.5A.
Operating from a wide input range of 85265 VAC with active power factor correction, each unit provides 1,500 VAC output isolation for applications requiring SELV outputs for space-critical power uses like Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) solutions, telecommunications and other network redundant power sources. The PSM500-210 provides control inputs that make it hotplug n+1 configurable for scaleable and redundant applications, as well as overtemperature protection and control signaling via front-panel LEDs. Optionally available decoupling diodes and diagnostic contacts enable use in DC-UPS solutions, as required by centrally DC-protected power supply systems, e.g., distributed PoE solutions.

1500-WATT 1U RACK OFFERING PoE AND RPS RACK COMPATIBILITY
PHIHONG's PSM1554 rack accepts up to three 500-Watt modules with just ONE height module. Equipped with quick disconnect connectors for three individual loads, this 19" power supply system is suitable for Power-over-Ethernet, VoIP-phone, DC-UPS and lighting-system applications with single UPS, as well as redundant tele- and data-communications applications. The PSM 1544 is uniquely flexible, as it is compatible with PoE and network RPS- requirements.
In addition to meeting prescribed isolation requirements, the component is hot-pluggable and can be configured according to IEEE802.3af for PoE midspans central modules used for power application at the hub or to provide a 48VDC RPS input for switches. From a wide input ranging from 85-264VAC, two outputs are available: a main 48VDC with 30A, as well as a standby output of 12V / 4.5A. Each output has individual overtemperature, overvoltage and overload protection.
