COSMO ELECTRONICS CORPORATION,
established in 1981 and headquartered in Taipei, Taiwan, is a leading manufacturer of
galvanically separating electro-optic relay products.
Since its inception, the company has experienced impressive growth and has thus been able
to vastly expand its product offering. Today, the company's predominant business focus is
on solid state relays (SSR), reed relays (RR), SSRs with MOSFET output and photo couplers,
although the full product spectrum also extends to SMD and high power LEDs, photo triacs,
photo link connectors, mouse sensors, photo interrupters and proximity sensors.

COSMO products find use in a wide
array of applications, including telecom and computer systems, industrial applications,
security systems and consumer electronics, to mention just a few.
A core value at COSMO is quality, as evidenced by the company's ISO 9001 and 9002
certifications. And, because COSMO products frequently find use in network and security
related applications, many include certification to relevant national and international
standards, such as UL, VDE, TUV, FIMKO, NEMKO, SEMKO and DEMKO.

A selection of different CTR ranks is, of course, available, as is a choice of SMD, DIP or
wide DIP (H-Type / Long Creeping Distance) versions for nearly all products. On request,
SMD components are also supplied in tape and reel packaging.
As one might expect, COSMO products also conform to RoHS directives. The company has
completed its transition to RoHS compliant manufacturing and, for some time now, this
includes components that are suitable for high-temperature soldering processes (e.g., wave
soldering).
