SIM TECHNOLOGY, a manufacturer of
highly integrated, cost-effective GSM/GPRS modules, is a new supplier in the CODICO
linecard.
SIM TECHNOLOGY was founded in 1986, in Hong Kong, initially functioning as a distributor
of electronic components in Asia. In 1993, the company established a subsidiary in
Shanghai, and it began designing and developing mobile telephones in 1996. Since 2003, the
company has offered the heart of its mobile phone technology - GSM engines - on the market
in the form of OEM modules.

The product range comprises triband (900MHz / 1800MHz / 1900MHz) and quadband-capable
(850MHz / 900MHz / 1800MHz / 1900MHz) modules supporting GPRS Class 10. A variety of
different construction designs and connecting options (solderable, pin connector,
board-to-board) are available. SIM TECHNOLOGY also manufactures an EDGE module (SIM600), a
combined GSM/GPS module (SIM5x8) and a WLAN module (SIMW02).
