These new, convertible desktop/plug-in power supplies deliver 60W to 80W for your medical applications.
The AC adapters come with an exchangeable housing that permits conversion between desktop and plug-in type device in one easy step. Worldwide use as a plug-in power supply is also assured for all types of power sockets, thanks to the series' exchangeable adapter input chips. The concept may appear trivial - after all, we have all surely had this idea at one time or another - but, until now, implementation has escaped the industry.
Our new MED-LINE 80 power supplies thus inaugurate an entirely new "compact power class" of plug & play devices, as plug-in power supplies delivering more than 25W of power are a rarity. Little wonder, since size and weight considerations in the past called for a desktop solution. Of course, mobile applications with higher power requirements generally do not operate for an entire day on batteries alone. Thus, a mains power supply becomes necessary, although the power cable must be long enough to reach the nearest electrical outlet. A desktop power supply with a long mains connecting cable thus offers many benefits.

Certifications:
The devices are internationally listed as stand-alone power supplies according to IEC 60601 (for medical applications) and also conform to EN60950, including the corresponding EMC limits.
Mains Input Range:
An LED indicates mains(AC) voltage and device operation. The worldwide input range of 90VAC to 264VAC is fed via an IEC320-C7 connector (2-position) that suits commercially available power cables. The separately offered AC clips fit various international sockets and can be used to supplant a power cable - for those who wish to avoid heaps of "cable spaghetti" and boxes.
Output:
Operating within the ambient range of 0° to +40°C, this product family delivers 60W-80W of continuous output power, depending on the output voltage version: 12V, 15V, 18V, 24V or 48VDC are available. The constant current-limited output supports current peaks lasting for up to 30 seconds, at up to 90W (ETD=5%).

version, full-load efficiency ranges from 87% to 90% with an input of 230VAC.
