HIROSE's FX15 is an extremely compact board-to-wire connector that supports LVDS!
It offers significant space savings over conventional solutions in its class, thanks to a pitch of 1mm applied in two staggered rows, whereas the unique design also ensures that the soldering contacts are arranged in a single row for SMT applications. According to HIROSE, comparable products offer only 30 contacts across a length of 42.3mm, while the FX15 accommodates 51 contacts across a total length of 37mm.
HIROSE offers a choice of different versions, depending on the number of contact positions - for example, in horizontal and vertical designs. In addition to the mentioned 51-position version, the HIROSE FX15 for LVDS signals is also available with 21, 31 and 41 positions.

Product innovation also calls for a proliferation of options and variants, thus HIROSE is pursuing a universal concept for the FX15. The connector can be assembled with single strands ranging from AWG 28 to AWG 32, and HIROSE also offers combined versions for shielded FFC films and MicroCoax cables.
Especially in the area of flexible film cables (FFC) and flexible printed circuits (FPC), HIROSE is a true technology trendsetter. For example, HIROSE solutions include so-called "side catchers" that ensure a more reliable and linearly aligned connection. Not only does this design feature reduce assembly time, but it also prevents potential assembly errors.
