Board-to-cable systems supporting up to 5Gbps
YAMAICHI ELECTRONICS presents a new generation of high-speed connectors and cables for data transmission rates of up to 5Gbps. The new connector system enables internal connections for LVDS data transmission, or according to the HDMI, DVI, PCI-Express or S-ATA standard.
Like the existing HF503 series (for data transmission rates of up to 1.1Gbps), the new HF507 series is also a matched system consisting of the connector and pre-assembled FPC cable. The LCP-based FPC cable is manufactured using YAMAICHI's proven YFLEX technology, thus guaranteeing excellent data transmission characteristics. Elaborate and cost-intensive cable assembly is now a thing of the past, as the high-speed cable is delivered pre-assembled to customer specifications and 100% tested.
A secure connection between the cable and connector is ensured using a side-lock mechanism. The SMT connectors support reflow soldering and are delivered in tape and reel packaging for automatic mounting. A metal-shielded housing is also available to ensure optimal EMC characteristics, depending on the specific application.

HF503:
32 contacts, 38 contacts and 60 contacts / 0.5mm pitch
HF507:
21 contacts, 31 contacts, 41 contacts and 51 contacts / 0.5mm pitch
