CODICO TEAM: VERENA RICHTER
I am very pleased to have been given the opportunity to introduce myself in this edition of CODICO Impulse!
I joined CODICO at the beginning of 2006 to pursue a career in electronics, specifically in sales. Previously, I had worked for 2 years as an assistant in the advertising department of the TV magazine Tele, and for almost 3 years in the coffee branch of Kraft Foods Austria, where I was responsible for purchasing raw coffee, among other tasks.
The new challenge of going to work for CODICO was accompanied with eager expectations, and I was thrilled to receive such a warm welcome from the entire active component team. My first assignment was to the order processing department for the German region, where I learned all about contracts, orders and delivery deadlines relating to both customers and suppliers. In March 2007, I assumed my present function in the area of interior sales, where I do my best to keep CODICO's Austrian customers from Vienna to Carinthia satisfied. I certainly feel very happy, and also fulfilled, to have such a multi-faceted and interesting job.
I am particularly impressed by the exceptional working climate that exists here at CODICO, and the cooperation between my colleagues and me couldn't be better. Their positive attitude makes the workday a pleasure!
When I'm not working, sports (of all kinds) are at the center of my life. I like to stay fit by running, swimming and playing badminton, and I also enjoy relaxing over a cup of coffee with my friends afterwards. We plan lots of activities together, and usually these take on the form of road trips in my convertible - which gives me a chance to let the wind blow through my hair while listening to good music.

Most of all, I like spending my weekends in Tyrol, or Innsbruck to be more precise, since I love the beautiful mountain landscape and visiting my friends there. I find it the best means of recharging my batteries in preparation for the following week.
