The SMD memory throttles from SAGAMI are ideal for step-up and step-down transformer applications as a result of their facility to store energy and their low resistance.
A range of designs means that all developers will be able to find a perfect space-saving solution for their applications. Depending on the series, inductivity ranges from 1.2 µH to 3.3 mH with direct currents of up to 14 A can be supplied.
The 7004D series, which measures just 3.6 x 4.1 x 0.8 mm is one of the smallest of its kind. Both unshielded and shielded versions (for better EMC properties) are available. Some of the series are also designed for lead-free soldering. The SMD throttles are supplied on continuous tapes.
