TOUCH ME!!!

TOUCH PANELS FROM PANJIT SEMICONDUCTOR.

It's no secret that touch panels are rapidly finding their way into ever more applications these days. The PDA may still be the best known product to use them, but many other solutions now rely on touch panels as well. OEMs, it seems, have discovered their cost and flexibility advantages over housing front panels equipped with buttons or other control elements.

Another big plus for touch panels: virtual control buttons can be customized directly onto the display and adapted interactively.

Panjit offers a broad range of standard sized touch panel products, as well as customer tailored solutions.

The key parameters for Panjit touch panels:

Technology: thin film resistive
Materials: indium tin oxide glass and film
Interfaces: 4-wire / 5-wire
Controllers: matching devices available from Panjit
Standard Sizes: from 2" to 20"

With diagonal sizes ranging from 2" to 20", Panjit touch panels support a variety of different applications, and they are well suited for mounting on small, handheld terminals, as well as large monitors, flat screens, and displays.

Panjit makes the switch to an interactive screen a no-fuss affair, by offering ready-to-use touch panel controller boards with a USB or RS-232 interface and the necessary drivers to support Microsoft Windows, Linux or Mac.
