GPS POSITION LOCATING: A NEW VARIATION

One of Navman's newest developments is the Jupiter Callisto miniaturized 12-channel GPS in an SMD form factor.



Named after one of planet Jupiter's moons, the Callisto is also the latest addition to Navman's proven Jupiter family of products. The miniature12-channel GPS receiver delivers highest performance, at the same time freeing up valuable design space. Input sensitivity exceeds -150dB and supports a very secure Navstar satellite reception, even inside the sturdy plastic housing.




  Add low current consumption to high sensitivity and ruggedness, and you can see why the Callisto is an attractive solution for handheld and other battery operated applications, not to mention as a cost saving alternative for object tracking applications.

The Callisto ships packaged in a 19mm x 17.6mm surface mount design, weighs 1.7 grams max., and consumes a mere 50mA of current. The module will integrate smoothly into a multitude of OEM designs and applications, where it can help maximize production efficiency and reduce costs.
