WITH THE DEVELOPMENT OF ITS ZL AND ZA SERIES, RUBYCON REVOLUTIONIZED THE FIELD OF LOW-ESR
ELECTROLYTIC CAPACITORS.
For the first time ever, ESR values for elcaps moved into a range previously dominated by
very specialized, and much more costly, devices. More recently, RUBYCON's ZLH series -
featuring a service life of 10,000 hours at 105°C - extended the company's lead over
competing manufacturers, who had in the meantime introduced copies of the original, though
not measuring up to the RUBYCON standard in terms of durability and long service life.
As RUBYCON's biggest distribution partner - and one of very long standing at that - CODICO
is all the more pleased to announce the latest RUBYCON development:

ZLG : SUPER LOW ESR + 5000h at 105°C
Identical in size to the ZL series, the new ZLG offers significantly lower ESR values. And
that translates into higher current loadability throughout an equally long service life.

The advantages for designers include
the following:
-Reduction of the elcap count needed in the parallel circuits used to achieve a given ESR
and/or current value
-Better performance and lower output ripple current, thanks to the lower ESR values
-Longer service life, thanks to the ZLG's improved current loadability and lower
self-generated heat
As with all other RUBYCON products, top quality is guaranteed for the ZLG series through
frequent measuring of all relevant parameters during production, precision tracking of
production lots, long term testing under full load and at max. temperature, etc.
