The miniaturized performance available in RUBYCON's snap-in products, MXG (105°C) and USG (85°C), is now also offered in long-life versions. That means designers now have at their disposal a very compact, snap-in elcap offering 5,000 hours at 105°C.
SJV -
Long-life SMD elcap conforming to RoHS:
RUBYCON's SJV is an SMD elcap with a service life of 3,000 hours at 105°C. The device was designed to satisfy the market demand for a more durable solution with the capability of withstanding higher temperatures. Of course, the new SJV series device is also lead-free solderable and can withstand the higher assembly temperatures.

SZV -
Low-ESR SMD elcap conforming to RoHS:
The SZV extends RUBYCON's existing low-ESR SMD elcap lineup, and offers significantly improved performance values below the range offered by the new TZV. The series packs impedance values of 1.0Ù into a compact case size, e.g., 6.3 x 5.5mm, which represents a 33% reduction compared to existing RUBYCON products. The SZV elcaps are also lead-free solderable.
SXV -
125°C SMD elcap conforming to RoHS, for automotive applications:
The new SXV series augments Rubycon's 125°C SMD elcap range with a lead-free version. Lead-free assembly is thus supported by yet another class of RUBYCON elcap products. The SXV is intended for automotive electronics applications, where ever higher temperature requirements demand increasingly innovative solutions.
