SMD CURRENT SENSING RESISTORS
TYCO ELECTRONICS HAS EXPANDED ITS PRODUCT PORTFOLIO OF CURRENT SENSING RESISTORS, TO NOW COVER AN EVEN WIDER VARIETY OF APPLICATIONS.
Thanks to the latest augmentation of the product range, TYCO Electronics now offers an even broader spectrum of SMD current sensing resistors under the CGS brand name. The expanded portfolio of SMD devices ranges from size 0402 versions through to size 2512 in the standard package, including new types rated for up to 2W of power.
The following provides a brief overview of the available SMD current sensing resistors:
RL73 Series:
Size 0402 to 2512; resistance values from R10 to 10R; available tolerance of 1% and 5%; rated power ranging from 0.1 to 1W.
CRL Series:
Size 0805, 1206 and 1210; resistance values from R006 to 10R; available tolerance of 1% and 5%; rated power ranging from 0.25 to 0.66W.
TL Series:
Size 0805, 1206, 2512; resistance values from R001 to R20; tolerance of 1%; rated power ranging from 0.125 to 1W.

HL Series:
Size 2512; resistance values from R003 to R075; tolerance of 1%; rated power of 1W and 2W.
CTL Series
: Size 2512; resistance values from R001 to R50; tolerance of 1% and 5%; rated power of 1W and 2W.
The TYCO product portfolio is thus able to more fully meet the needs of applications demanding space-saving, low ohmic SMD resistors for precise current sensing. This expanded offering adds to TYCO Electronics' already comprehensive range of passive components, which comprises precision, power, and standard resistors, potentiometers, trimmers, thermistors, varistors, inductors, and capacitors.
