TDK's newest power inductors were developed to provide the ultimate solution for freeing up board space. Featuring a tiny surface area measuring 2.6mm x 2.8mm and a height of only 1mm, the new VLF3010A series of power chokes also delivers a high current capability. With a low DC resistance and the ability to handle high switching frequencies, these new choking coils can be used to significantly increase the efficiency of DC/DC converters.
Three different sizes of the VLF3010A are available, with inductance values ranging from 1.5µH to 47µH. The new series is fully compliant with the WEEE and RoHS directives, and accommodates lead-free soldering applications.
