D-SUB: 50% MORE PINS, 0% MORE SPACE!

FCI D-SUB CONNECTORS WITH PRESS-FIT TERMINATIONS SAVE SPACE IN HIGH-DENSITY DESIGNS.

FCI has introduced the first 78-pin right-angled D-Sub connector with press-fit terminations, enabling designers to develop higher density solutions without having to move to an alternative and less robust connector technology.

This type of connector previously offered a maximum pin count of 50 pins.

The newest member of FCI's Compact D connector family also helps designers avoid the cost and time of an additional wave solder process. The 78-way female connector occupies the same board space as the 50-way version and is ideally suited to telecom and industrial applications.
The connector's gold-plated, phosphor bronze contacts are arranged in four rows and can handle a maximum current of 3A, and it is rated for up to 500 mating / unmating cycles.
