Souriau, the leading manufacturer of connector systems for severe environments, has augmented its TrimTrio family with a new generation of UTO circular connectors developed to meet demanding rack and panel, PC board, and cable connection applications.
The new UTO versions offer the following characteristic advantages:
-a choice of two different protection classes: IP67/IP69K and IP68/IP69K
-robust, die cast metal shell with bayonet locking pins
-nickel plated shell surface
-a version with continuous shield connection
-backshell with metric cable glands

The UTO series uses size 16 (1.6mm pin diameter) contacts. It is available in 8 different shell sizes and 8 different insert arrangements, accommodating from 4 to 48 pin connections. The UTOW is compatible with connectors meeting MIL 26482, Series 1, and is designed for size 20 (1.0mm pin dia.) contacts. It offers 8 different shell sizes and accommodates 6 to 68 pin connections.
Three different shell configurations are available: cable plug, wall mount receptacle with right-angle flange and wall mount single-hole receptacle
