COSEL's PBA series is extremely flat, has a very small surface area, and includes versions that deliver 50 / 75 / 100 / 150 / 300 / 600 / 1000 / or 1500W. The 50W through 150W versions control dissipated heat without fan cooling, as the housing wall can be used as a heat sink if required (due to the robust mounting bracket). The entire series uses a universal input stage with active power factor correction in accordance with IEC61000-3-2. This permits even the 50W version to be used in end devices incorporating multiple power supplies.

The entire PBA series supports even "difficult" applications via a number of optionally available features:
- Voltage drop ride through to 50VAC or 70VDC, according to the SEMI 47 standard for semiconductor manufacturing.
- Reduction of leakage current in 2 steps according to the applicable EN55022"A" limit.
- Resin coating to protect against high condensation or other aggressive environments.
- Remote on/off control of the main output, while the standby output for 300W+ versions remains active.
- Remote sensing to compensate for line losses.
- External remote control of the output voltage using a control level or external pot. The output for 300W+ versions can be lowered to 10% of the nominal value.
- Changeable mounting direction of the screw clamps or mounting via plug in contacts.
Standard inserted signals for active load sharing during parallel operation, AC-fail, output monitoring for output voltage control, and a cooling fan failure alarm for 300W+ versions furthermore ensure fast, no-fuss integration even within complex systems. The PBA series extreme reliability and operational safety is backed by a 5-year warranty. To top it off, the series has numerous international approvals to support worldwide use.
