MICROCONTROLLER SEMINAR A HUGE SUCCESS!
THIS YEAR'S CODICO-ATMEL SEMINAR SERIES WAS HELD IN OCTOBER 2005 IN PRAGUE, BUDAPEST AND
VIENNA.
WITH 150 PARTICIPANTS IN ALL, CODICO IS VERY PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THAT THE SEMINARS WHERE A
HUGE SUCCESS - AND THE MANY PARTICIPANTS WILL SURELY AGREE, AS THEY WERE EXPOSED TO THE
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS SURROUNDING FLASH-BASED CONTROLLERS. DRAWING A PARTICULAR INTEREST
WERE ATMEL'S NEW ARM SAM CONTROLLERS, WHILE UP-TO-DATE OVERVIEW OF AVR AND 8051 PRODUCTS
WAS ALSO WELL RECEIVED.

As announced during the seminar
series, the new AT91SAMICE JTAG debugger is now available from ATMEL. In combination with
a suitable evaluation board and an ARM C-compiler, this new tool is an easy and
cost-effective means of evaluating ATMEL's ARM controllers.

Board supporting ATMEL's AT91SAM7X and AT91SAM7CX products
AT91SAM7A3, Board supporting the AT91SAM7A3
All of the above evaluation boards include a PCB with the soldered-on processor, as well
as the required external connections. With respect to the compiler, a free version from
IAR with a code limit of 32K (unlimited time duration) or a GNU compiler (also free) can
be used, while numerous other compiler solutions are available as well.
