PoE: 20-WATT
SINGLE-PORT POWER INJECTOR FOR HIGH-PERFORMANCE GIGABIT SYSTEMS FROM PHIHONG
STANDARD COMPONENTS THAT HAVE ENOUGH "JUICE" TO ACT AS A POWER INJECTOR FOR
HIGH-SPEED POWER OVER ETHERNET (PoE) APPLICATIONS - SUCH AS BROADBAND WIRELESS
COMMUNICATIONS AND HIGH-RESOLUTION IP CAMERAS - ARE WHAT CUSTOMERS ARE INCREASINGLY ASKING
FOR.
And now there is a satisfactory
answer: The PSA20U-480 from PHIHONG, a second-generation desktop device offering IEEE
802.11n compatibility and with the ability to come to the rescue when the 15.4W offered by
the first-generation PSA16U-480 is not enough. The PSA20U meets all conceivable
requirements with respect to safety and logical functionality, as demanded by Power over
Ethernet networks.

For example, prior to powering up, the
integrated processor first detects which of the 4 classes of operation the selected
channel and its end devices are designed to use. In addition, it continually checks the
system status during operation and automatically provides cut-off in the event of a fault
condition.
Three integrated LED indicators provide optical indications of the operational status.
These new desktop power supplies operate with a wide input range of 90 to 264VAC, at 47 to
63Hz, making them suitable for worldwide use. The devices are connected via a socket that
conforms to IEC320 (input connector). Worldwide use is further supported by conformance to
the IT standard IEC950 Class 2, a listing for stand-alone use according to cUL, and TÜV,
CE and FC approvals. 56VDC and 350mA max. are available on the "hot" line of the
output side, while two screw lugs are provided for secure mounting.
SPECIFICATIONS:
Input: 90 to 264Vac / 47 to 63Hz
Output: 56VDC @ 350mA max.
Compatibility: IEEE 802.11n
Diagnostics: 3 LEDs
Monitoring: microprocessor controlled
International Approvals: CE, cUL, FC
