robust, waterproof, fully shielded and lead-free if at all possible. In short, an
all-in-one device suitable for any purpose.

And designing a connector to make this
dream come true is exactly what HIROSE Electric set out to accomplish with excellent
results!
The new LF07 series, a follow-on design of the significantly larger RM series, delivers
all of the above and then some: It is small and robust, and features bayonet coupling
according to IP67. At the same time, it is even easier to assemble than its predecessor!
In addition, the LF07 features a patented electrical shielding design that makes it highly
attractive for use in measuring equipment, sensors and other sensitive applications. And
it doesn't stop there, as the new series is equally well suited for use in industrial
systems, medical equipment, automation and robotics applications, security cameras, etc.
The LF07 series is available in 3- and 6-position versions for a cable diameter of 5mm,
including plug, receptacle and jack variants. What's more, 4- and 12-position connectors
for a cable diameter of 7.3mm, and even 11- and 13-position models, are currently under
development at HIROSE. In other words, it won't be too long before the next dream comes
true!
