CELDUC SENSOR TECHNOLOGY!

Sensors for detecting position and movement, recognizing filling levels and speed, or even for special applications in the aerospace industry or explosive environments (ATEX sensors) - all of these are additional strengths of CELDUC, the French manufacturer of solid-state and reed relays.

Not only does CELDUC offer a wide range of standard products, but, with 30 years of experience behind it, the company also manufactures customer-specific sensor solutions. The product range is divided into two groups:
The first comprises sensors based on reed switches, a design that includes a protected mechanical contact inside an enclosed, insulated glass tube. This simple yet durable solution is also very cost-effective.
The second group comprises electronic sensors based on the magnetic-resistance or Hall effect. These are designed for use in high-performance applications, especially those requiring maximal switching frequencies.

Potential applications and examples for use:
• Industrial and medical: counters, cylinder position, liquid fill levels, machinery safety switches in accordance with EN60204 - EN1088 - EN954 Cat.1-4, etc.
• Home technology: intrusion protection (e.g., door position), blinds, elevators, alarm systems, swimming pools, household devices (e.g., wash machines), etc.
• Aerospace / Automotive: fuel and oil levels, belt systems.
• ATEX: For use in explosive protected environments.

The sensors are designed to meet the requirements of the immediate environment and are manufactured using diverse materials, such as rust-free steel, brass or a variety of synthetics. As a result, they may be used in connection with chemical substances and at higher operating temperatures. In the application, they can be used as hinged or lengthwise sliding sensor elements. Special solutions and versions for PCB mounting are also available.

The possible available switching states are NO/NC (normally open or normally closed) and change-over units are also available!
Depending on the type, CELDUC sensors can operate at up to 250VAC/DC with a switching power of up to 100VA - extending as high as 500VA for some solid-state versions.

CELDUC electronic sensors, such as the PLE and PTE series, are Hall-effect designs and are used primarily for position and speed measurement, e.g., for pulse counting on rotating shafts (gear wheel sensors), etc.

In close cooperation with the CELDUC development team, CODICO can also arrange for specialized variants and assemblies to be manufactured according to your specific requirements!

We would be pleased to send you more information, and we look forward to your inquiries!
