HAUFE, an ISO9001-certified supplier in the CODICO linecard, manufactures many types of transponder coils to customer specifications for a broad spectrum of ID applications.
For years now, systems with transponder coils have been successfully applied in identification and communications systems. Their uses are many for the secure recognition of individuals, e.g., for recording employee work time, registering security forces and locating injured or buried victims, but also for identifying many kinds of animals and goods. Another field of application is in security technology, such as intrusion alarm systems.
Depending on the specific application and design criteria, HAUFE coils are manufactured either with or without the use of a core material, while all products demonstrate very good temperature properties.
The devices can be supplied as coated or enclosed versions, or ready-prepared for assembly inside an enclosure. HAUFE primarily manufactures customer-specific solutions in a variety of different sizes. To date, such solutions have included products with a length of approx. 20mm to 60mm and a diameter of 8mm to 30mm. The use of individualized coil bodies makes it easy to adapt a product to the customer's exact requirements.

The many different solutions offered include air-coil designs through to versions with a choice of different core materials. Ferrite products, for example, offer a frequency range of approx. 100KHz to 150KHz (typically 120KHz to 125KHz). For applications requiring a solution under 100KHz, HAUFE also offers more cost-effective laminated cores. Resonant frequencies of approx. 200Hz to 2KHz are available, again depending on the application. The typical diameter of the coil wire used runs from 0.05mm to 0.5mm. Of course, the products also conform to RoHS requirements.
