STILL SWEATING HIGH SOLDERING TEMPERATURES FOR YOUR SMD ELCAPS ?
260°C IS NOT A PROBLEM NOW !

RUBYCON already offers a complete range of SMD elcaps for RoHS soldering.

And, even with respect to approved soldering temperatures, the existing SEV, SKV, SGV and TZV series are ahead of the competition. However, when legacy products for 250°C didn't yield quite the soldering result needed for some manufacturing processes, RUBYCON went back to the drawing board. The result: an advanced electrolyte, improved rubber seal and a more stable can, which together account for the new capacitors' compatibility with soldering temperatures of up to 260°C! RUBYCON has designated the new devices the JEV, JKV, JGV and JZV. Because of the costlier design, the new solutions are intended for use only in those applications where higher soldering temperatures are still required. So, if your present elcap is up to the job, there is no need to switch.

All four series can be soldered according to the following profile:
2 cycles with a maximum of 5 seconds at 260°C (8x6.5mm, 8x10.5mm and 10x10.5mm 250°C), and 60 seconds max. at up to 217°C.

If soldering SMD elcaps still makes you break out in a sweat, don't hesitate to contact CODICO!
