CODICO + CONEXANT AT IBC 2007 IN AMSTERDAM.
CODICO and CONEXANT for the first time joined forces at the 2007 International Broadcast Conference in Amsterdam.
CODICO accepted the invitation of CONEXANT - one of the leading manufacturers of chipsets for set-top boxes and video decoders - to exhibit together at the 2007 International Broadcast Exhibition, the world's largest trade fair for TV and new media technology held in Amsterdam.
Among the over 1,400 exhibitors from around the globe, CODICO and CONEXANT were able to attract many visitors and new contacts to Hall 2, thanks to the exciting products on hand and the brightly lit stand. In addition to the reference platforms for CONEXANT's already in production chips supporting DVB-S2 (CX24116 / CX24118), Standard Definition STB (CX24301) and HD/H.264 (CX2417x / CX24182), more recent market introductions were also on display, including solutions for DVB-T(CX24210/CX24230) and a multi-channel video decoder (CX2585x).

The HD/H.264/IPTV evaluation platform from AIX-Solve and the multi-channel video decoder drew the biggest interest. The reasons: IPTV (Internet Protocol Television), which promises to be the new motor for the broadcast market in the coming years, and a heightened awareness for security around the world.
