MXG SERIES WITH EXTENDED SERVICE LIFE
RUBYCON's most compact snap-in capacitor series to date, the MXG, has previously offered a guaranteed service life of 2,000 hours at 105°C under full current load. As a rule, RUBYCON is very prudent before introducing new products, to include a long and thorough testing cycle before further steps are taken. For the MXG series, these steps have now been implemented! As a result, the service life has been increased by 50% under identical conditions - from 2,000h to 3,000h. This means their performance within the application has also been improved by 50% at typically lower temperatures. Or, conversely, even at an approx. 6°C higher temperature they are able to achieve the same service life as before. Perhaps that also means one less worry for circuit designers!
