TFV SERIES: EVEN LOWER ESR FOR SMD APPLICATIONS
RUBYCON has introduced the TFV series of SMD elcaps, which feature even lower ESR values and a higher current load capacity than any previous types. As a result, RUBYCON offers the ideal capacitor for DC/DC converters that rely on SMD assembly. The devices' low impedance and compact dimensions also make the TFV a good alternative to tantalum capacitors. With a more robust construction, aluminum elcaps do not require a voltage derating at high temperatures, whereas tantalum caps do. Thus, you can be sure that a 35V rating truly means 35V and 16V elcaps will indeed suit a 16V application!
