THE ZX SERIES MICRO-USB 2.0 INTERFACE CONNECTOR*
The market demand for standardized interface connectors continues to grow, fueled primarily by the ever smaller and more complex end devices used in mobile telephony, computer systems, digital photography, reading devices, entertainment electronics and GPS.
As a result, the trend toward ever smaller I/O connectors must keep pace: first came USB, then Mini-USB and now it is Micro-USB. In fact, the original concept for the Micro-USB 2.0 standard was developed by Japan's HIROSE ELECTRIC Co., Ltd. Among all competing designs, the Micro-USB committee selected HIROSE's concept as the new Micro-USB standard.
