The positive properties of two
time-tested ELKO series have been successfully combined. The whole thing can be expressed
simply as
YXF + YXG = YXH. With the impedance and the ripple current values of the widely used YXG
series, RUBYCON has managed to extend the service life to the periods achieved by the long
life model YXF. The result is an ELKO, which offers very good performance coupled with a
guaranteed service life of up to 10,000 hours at a temperature of 105°C. In addition the
impedance has been reduced by more than 10% in the voltage range of 63 V and 100 V and
therefore the maximum ripple current has also been increased accordingly.
