In the past the MBZ series has achieved ESR and ripple current values that were otherwise
the exclusive domain of expensive hybrid constructions or sophisticated organic
capacitors.

With the new MCZ the ESR has once
again been reduced by approx. 30%. The benefit for you is clear. It will enable you to
reduce capacity or drop the number of ELKO's connected in parallel. Both create space and
save costs. Since this ELKO has been designed to achieve extremely low impedance, its
service life is limited to 2,000 hours at a temperature of 105°C and at full load. At a
temperature of 60°C, for example, that means a service life of 42,000 hours, however.
If this does not meet your needs, we can offer you the MHZ. This brand new model only
offers slightly better ESR values compared to the previous MBZ, but also offers 5,000
hours at a temperature of 105°C. This means that even at 70°C it will provide a service
life of over 55,000 hours.
