FLAT 150 W POWER SUPPLIES FOR MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY WITHOUT FANS - MEDICAL LOW CROSS-SECTION POWER SUPPLIES?
MSW150 power supplies from Rubycon on open-frame aluminum cooling brackets have a height of just 3.2 cm without a cover. The contact area of 19 x 10 cm supports the thermal design by offering direct heat dissipation through the chassis up to 50°C. Only if higher temperatures are encountered is a fan required.
The power supplies have another outstanding feature - a peak load capacity of 300 W for up to 10 seconds, with a restriction to the European input range (170-264 VAC).

Without 300 W peaks the power supply will operate with global input voltages of 85 V...264 VAC, and the two versions provide outputs of 12 VDC or 24 VDC.
The control accuracy of the output voltage of just +/- 0.5% against load and input changes of all types is remarkable. It should be noted that the noise suppression complies with EN55022 "B" with leakage current of less than 0.3 mA.
As usual, if necessary the Y capacities can be left out to limit the leakage current, which requires additional filtering of the EMI performance if EN55022 Class "A" is not sufficient. The power supplies are registered with UL, CSA, CE and Nemko.
