PICVUE ELECTRONICS WAS FOUNDED IN 1970 WITH HEADQUARTERS IN TAIWAN. TODAY, THE COMPANY
OFFERS A BROAD PALLET OF CSTN AND TFT COLOR DISPLAYS IN ADDITION TO MONOCHROME CHARACTER
AND GRAPHIC DISPLAYS.
The PICVUE Electronics head office and main production facilities are located in Hsinchu,
which places the company at the center of the "Taiwanese Silicon Valley". PICVUE
is both ISO9001:2000 and ISO14001 certified.
PICVUE's color display lineup comprises three different technology areas, making it one of
the few manufacturers to cover virtually all market applications.
NEW HSP TECHNOLOGY: 7 TIMES FASTER!
PICVUE developed HSP technology for passive CSTN displays, to enable the running of
videos. The new HSP technology allows the display of visual media 7 times faster than with
conventional CSTNs, and uses less power than TFTs.
PICVUE TFT PRODUCTS
In the area of transmissive s-Si TFT displays, PICVUE currently offers two products that
focus on the mobile boom: a size 1.1" display and another in size 2.0".
PICVUE has furthermore made it a priority to adapt its TFT product portfolio to match its
CSTN technology offering over the next few months.

And that means TFT displays in sizes
through 7" will soon be in series production. The following PICVUE TFT roadmap

MOBILE PHONES:
For mobile phone applications, PICVUE offers display sizes ranging from 1.1" to
2.0" (available sizes are shown in the table below). Many of these products are
offered in single or dual panel versions.
HANDHELD TERMINALS AND PDA-TYPE PRODUCTS
For battery operated handheld terminals used in data acquisition and accounting, and for
PDA-type products requiring small preview displays for printing, copying, and numerous
other applications, PICVUE offers displays ranging in size from 2.0" to 3.9".
INDUSTRIAL VISUALIZATION AND E-BOOK APPLICATIONS
PICVUE offers medium sized color displays and high-resolution touch panels for industrial
control visualizations, eBooks, and many other applications.
