That’s because they comply with the IEC 60335-1 standard, which requires a flame to extinguish within 2 seconds at a temperature of 750°C. CVILUX’s compliant wire-to-board connectors offer 3.96mm, 5.00mm and 5.08mm pitch versions, with cable and board-type connectors also available. Pin positions and wire sizes range from 2 to 20 positions and AWG18 to AWG 28, respectively, depending on the connector series. Power connectors are offered with a pitch of 4.20mm, including as cable or board connectors, and – depending on the version – are available with 2 to 24 pin positions and wire sizes of AWG16 to AWG 28.
